We’re located at 2145 Indian River Blvd, Suite B - easy to find from US-1, SR-60, and I-95, with parking directly in front of the office.
Inside, the office has a coastal theme that reflects where we live and who we are. Dr. Nickel grew up on the beaches of Southern California and worked as a Newport Beach Ocean Lifeguard before becoming a pediatric dentist - so the ocean-inspired design isn’t a decorator’s choice. It’s part of who he is, and it sets the tone for the practice.
The office features:
- A patient fish tank - one of the first things kids notice, and one of the last things they forget. Research consistently shows aquariums help reduce patient anxiety; ours has been earning reviews from families for years.
- Child-scaled treatment areas designed for comfort at every age - from infants at their first exam through teenagers finishing their last pediatric visit before transitioning to adult care.
- Comfortable parent seating with clear sightlines to where your child is being treated, so you’re never out of the loop.
- Online paperwork available before your visit - so you spend less time with a clipboard and more time with your child.
Every Child, Every Need
Dr. Nickel completed his pediatric residency at USC with clinical rotations across three major children’s hospitals: Long Beach Miller Children’s, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. That background means he’s treated children across a wide range of needs - from a toddler’s first cleaning to medically complex cases that required hospital-level care.
We see children of all temperaments and abilities, and we take the time to go at your child’s pace. If your child is anxious, sensory-sensitive, or has never had a great experience at the dentist before, please tell us when you call. We’ll plan accordingly.
