No matter what your age, visiting the dentist on a regular basis will help keep your teeth and gums healthy, and your smile bright!
The American Dental Association and the American Academy for Pediatric Dentistry recommend that you, and your child, visit the dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings; and, we would love to see you here every six months to make sure that your child’s smile is staying healthy!
Preventing Dental Disease
Checkups every six months, starting at age 1 or eruption of your child’s first tooth, is extremely important in preventing dental disease. At each visit we will clean your child’s teeth, take images when required to follow the development of their adult dentition, and place preventative fluoride varnish to protect the structure of their teeth. This comprehensive maintenance routine allows us to promote oral health, prevent dental disease when possible and notice any signs of early decay.
